Han Le


Han has over 20 years experience in R&D, technology executive management, and hi-tech activities, including advisory and consulting for numerous venture-backed portfolio companies. Most recently, Han organized and co-chaired Vietnam’s first international optoelectronics conference in Nov 2008 that focused on Vietnam’s potential in this industry, a subject that he has studied over the last few years, and is also working with Vietnam Strategic Venture Network on high tech opportunities for Vietnam. Han’s career also included 14 years at MIT Lincoln Lab with extensive collaboration and advisory consultation with the US defense agencies and the defense industry, and most recently on professional panels and study groups for homeland security. He is also currently an electrical engineering professor at University of Houston. Han served as reviewer for grant and contract proposals, published 130 journal and conference papers, gave technical seminars at major industrial and FFRDC laboratories, and involved in organizing/chairing technical meetings and workshops. Han received a BS degree from Georgetown University, Washington, D.C, and a Ph.D. degree from MIT, Massachusetts.
