Mr. Knight is President of the Association of Canadian Community Colleges.
As the national and international voice of Canada’s 150 community colleges
and technical institutes, the Association’s mandate is to advocate on behalf
of its members, provide value added membership services and manage an
impressive portfolio of national and international projects.

Mr. Knight holds a B.A. (Hon) from the University of Western Ontario, an M.A.
from the University of Toronto, and a diploma from Algonquin College.

With over 25 years of leadership with the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) and prior
experience with the federal government through Heritage Canada, Indian and Northern Affairs
Canada and Environment Canada, Mr. Knight brings a depth of national, international and
community-oriented expertise to ACCC. During Mr. Knight’s tenure at FCM, the Federation was
highly successful in attracting the attention and support of the federal government on behalf of its
members and launching an award-winning international program.

Mr. Knight’s enthusiasm, vision and leadership ensure that ACCC will continue to strive for quality
and excellence in serving its membership in its roles of advocacy, partnership, marketing and
forum.
